We plan to train personnel in foreign companies (Shell, BP, Elf, etc) stationed in the region (Turkey/Middle East/Middle Asia). Our main concern is to give fire fighting training especially to technical personnel of the facilities (industrial, educational, residential). Akademi Acil Durum Eğitim Merkezi (AKADEMİ – ADEM) has been founded to give some other professional trainings to comply with EC Harmonization Process. For this purpose we give fire fighting, first aid, emergency, occupational safety and health training. We are the first company to give training in such a wide range in this field. Our trainers are all experts in their prime subjects and training skills. We use our own training facility or other convenient places customers prefer. Other activities of our group:
AKADEMİ-BİRGEM – Personal Development Training Center gives diction, fast reading, graphic design trainings for and it is located in Istanbul. TED Training Center was founded in 1979. The main purpose is to prepare students for university placement exam which is a real competition. Lately a similar exam has been held for some special high schools and it is another great competition. We run courses for the high school students in the weekends and courses for graduated –but unsuccessful– students during the week. Besides our main center in Kadıköy, Istanbul, we have a branch in Şile, suburb of Istanbul. Every year we train more than 1000 students for universities and high schools. Our success rate is about 85% which is quite high. AKADEMİ-İSTANBUL publishing publishes and imports books for universities and gives country wide service. AKADEMİ Private Security Training Center gives primary security and weapons training for the security guards. Our main training center is in Istanbul and has 6 class rooms, 1 conference and 1 meeting room. We are capable of training 250 trainees at a time. We have 6 branch offices in Ankara, Adana, İzmir, Eskişehir, Bursa and Antalya, the most important cities of Turkey, with total capacity of 600 trainees. In our organization there are 14 managers, 145 instructors and 44 employees. |
